About the Position Join a highly creative, multidisciplinary, and international design team dedicated to transforming strategic ideas into innovative and successful products. The team focuses on the design of next-generation ICT equipment and connected products, including telecommunications equipment, indoor and outdoor small cells, smart home devices, intelligent automotive solutions, and other connected technologies. In this role, you will contribute throughout the entire design process, from user research and concept development to prototyping and final product realisation. Drawing on insights from user behaviour, design trends, societal shifts, and emerging business opportunities, you will create compelling design concepts, engaging user experiences, and innovative product features. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of form, colour, materials, and finishes, combined with the ability to articulate the thinking behind their design decisions. You are not simply focused on aesthetics, but are driven by a desire to create meaningful, user-centred solutions with exceptional attention to detail. You understand the importance of design in building strong brands and cohesive product portfolios. You are comfortable communicating ideas through sketching, 3D modelling, prototyping, and visualisation, and enjoy collaborating with designers, engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the development process. You are also confident presenting design concepts, facilitating workshops, providing constructive feedback, and helping multidisciplinary teams navigate the design journey from initial idea to final solution. Key Responsibilities • Be part of a creative industrial design team developing innovative products. • Contribute to product development from initial research and concept creation through to successful product realisation. • Communicate ideas and design concepts effectively to designers, engineers, and management. • Take responsibility for the industrial design function within multidisciplinary project teams. • Maintain a strong understanding of competitors, industry developments, emerging technologies, and design trends. Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design, Design Engineering, or a related field is preferred. • Minimum 6-8 years of professional industrial design experience, with significant experience gained in a consultancy, design agency, or design studio environment. • Proven experience working on projects involving multiple designers while remaining actively engaged in hands-on design work. • Excellent understanding of form, proportions, colour, materials, and finishes (CMF). • Strong awareness of global design, technology, and consumer trends. • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials. • Hands-on experience with model making, prototyping, and testing. • Proficiency in Creo, Rhino, KeyShot, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent design tools. • Self-driven, well-organised, and capable of independently managing design activities. • Proven experience delivering successful industrial design projects in an international environment. • Experience designing consumer products is considered an advantage. Required Skills & Personal Characteristics • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, innovation, and successful product development. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and business stakeholders. • A passion for creating meaningful products and exceptional user experiences. • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary and international teams. • Curious, proactive, detail-oriented, and driven by continuous learning and innovation. Since it´s an on-site position, you should be based in Stockholm or the surrounding area, or be willing to relocate. If you are passionate about creating innovative products and shaping meaningful user experiences through design, we look forward to receiving your application and portfolio by 14 September.
