Legal Advisor in EU, AI and Business Law
Göteborg, Västra Götalands länAnsök senast 28 feb. 2027
Om jobbet
We are looking for lawyers who want to work where the regulation is actually taking shape
Lawgent is Sweden's first law firm built around AI and EU regulation. We help companies navigate the EU AI Act, GDPR, the DSA, the Data Act and DORA, and grow across Europe on solid legal ground. We do it in language the client can actually use.
We are growing, and we are hiring several lawyers at the start of their careers.
The role
As a Legal Advisor you work across the full breadth of our practice, with senior supervision from day one. You will:
Research and answer questions on the AI Act, GDPR, the DSA, the Data Act and DORA
Run Legal Growth Audits, structured reviews of a client's regulatory exposure
Draft and review commercial agreements, data processing agreements and vendor contracts
Build policies, governance frameworks and internal documentation clients can genuinely operate
Support clients establishing and scaling in new European markets
Produce templates, checklists and knowledge material that reach well beyond a single mandate
Join client meetings and, over time, build client relationships of your own
We work close to our clients, often as their only legal function. That means responsibility early, and the support to carry it.
We think you
Hold a law degree or an LL.M. in EU law, business law, IT law or similar
Have 0 to 3 years of experience from a firm, an in-house team, a public authority, a court or an internship
Write and speak fluent English or Swedish, and work comfortably in the other
Can explain complex regulation briefly and clearly without losing precision
Are curious about technology and how AI, data and digital services actually work
Own your matters and do what you said you would
A plus: experience in data protection or AI regulation, work in an international environment, financial regulation, additional European languages, or hands-on experience with technology products.
You do not need to be an AI law specialist already. The field is new to everyone. We are looking for judgment, work ethic and the ability to get up to speed on new rules fast.
Why Lawgent
Rigor. We hold ourselves to the standard our clients trust us with: precise, prepared and principled in everything we take on.
Impact. You work on the questions shaping how AI, data and regulation move across Europe, for clients who set the pace.
Growth. You learn beside senior practitioners and academic advisors, among them professors of international law and comparative private law, within a group built for the long term.
We are an international team with colleagues in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Malmö and across Europe. Location is flexible: you can be based at one of our Swedish offices or work from a European location by agreement.
How to apply
All recruitment across Lawgent is handled by our parent company, Nordic Investin Group. Apply through the group's careers portal: jobs.nordicinvestin.se
Attach your CV and a short cover letter. We review applications on a rolling basis and fill positions as soon as we find the right people, so do not wait for a deadline.
